Blast Ball (4-5U)

This program will introduce children to the basics of T-Ball -  baseball. Blast ball introduces the basic fundamentals of baseball- hitting, throwing, catching, running and fielding in a FUN, fast-paced action environment. Parent participation is encouraged and strongly currently recommended at this age level.  This program runs for 8 consecutive weeks starting in mid to end of May in partnership with Oakridge Minor Baseball.

Frequency: 1 time per week during the week (Mon-Fri)

T-Ball (6U)

This program will introduce children to the basics of baseball. T-ball teaches all 5 basic fundamentals of baseball- hitting, throwing, catching, running and fielding in a FUN, fast-paced action environment. Parent participation is strongly recommended. This program will further introduce the fundamentals of baseball to the children. Children will begin to develop agility, coordination and balance. Rules will be introduced as kids begin playing in games weekly.  Typically, the program starts mid to end of May and concludes the last Thursday in July with a huge celebration event. The T-Ball program runs in partnership with Oakridge Minor Baseball. 

Frequency: Teams will typically be on the field 2 nights/week (1 game/ 1 practice). We do our best to keep all games and practices during the week (Mon-Fri)

Jr. Rookie (Super T-Ball) (7U)

This program further introduces the fundamentals of baseball to the children. Children will begin to develop agility, coordination and balance. Rules will be introduced as kids begin playing in games weekly. Program is broken into segments with segment 1 being true baseball style T-Ball with outs and scores recorded. Moving to segment 2 - coach pitch and further skill development becomes a focus. Finally segment 3 introduces the pitching machine (either electric or foot pedal action) allowing players to become prepared for the next level of baseball (Rookie). Program typically starts mid to end of May and concludes the end of July with a skills celebration and fun night. This development program operates in coordination with Oakridge Minor Baseball.
