Rookie (9U)

A pitching machine is used to provide consistency as skill development in the areas of catching/fielding, throwing and base running continues. Fun, friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship are stressed. Concepts of competition are introduced.

Frequency: Teams will typically be on the field 2 nights/week (1 game/ 1 practice). We do our best to keep all games and practices during the week (Mon-Fri)

Mosquito (11U)

Mosquito marks the transition from introductory programs to baseball. Coaches will incorporate modified baseball rules to allow for better development of pitchers and hitters. Teams are balanced by skill level, and the focus is on fun within a team atmosphere. At Mosquito the length of the bases are 60 feet and the pitching rubber is 45 feet from home plate.
