MINOR MOSQUITO FALL TRYOUTS
A quick introduction for those that don't know me but I am the head coach of the Minor Mosquito REP team for the 2019 season.
North London and the rest of the LDBA has changed their tryout process and for the first time are conducting FALL TRYOUTS in advance of the 2019 season. There are many reasons for this change but I believe it is a great choice and will allow us to provide a very fair tryout process while also allowing us lots of time to prepare for the upcoming season.
This is a RECRUITING note in hopes of getting as many people out to tryouts as possible! We currently have approximately 16 candidates and I would like this # closer to 25. We have a wealth of talent in the association and I want to ensure everyone is playing the level that is best for them.
Tryouts will start the 2nd week of October and will include 6-8 sessions. With many families tied up in hockey I understand that not everyone can make every workout.
REP Baseball is a wonderful summer experience (I'm bias) and while it means a fairly busy summer I promise you that is is less busy then you probably think and that I am very accommodating and appreciative of summer holidays, etc.
Should you have interest in signing up for the tryouts, please follow the link below. The cost is TBD and is entirely dependent on # of registrants and the weather. If possible we will try and conduct some practices outdoors.
