We have amazing talent within our Nationals Family!

Congratulations to one of North London Baseball Association’s preeminent accredited coaches, Rob Ford, who recently achieved one of the highest Training Certification Accreditation in Canada. Rob has been attaining Clinics through Baseball Canada for the past several years and is now among one of the few Learning Facilitators in Ontario. Through Baseball Canada and the NCCP, Rob has been Trained as a Learning Facilitator. As such, Rob will be among a Specialized Group trained to certify Baseball Coaches all over Ontario. As Rob covers the vast territories of Ontario, we hope to have him provide some Clinics right her in our backyard, through the NLBA and Baseball Canada.

The goal of a Learning Facilitator is to effectively facilitate sessions that result in the development of coaches who are able to demonstrate their abilities and meet the standards established for certification. As a Learning Facilitator Rob now demonstrates the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes to facilitate workshops using the competency-based approach. In addition, he will now serve as a valued contributing member of the community and an ambassador for the NCCP.

Every NCCP workshop is led by a trained Learning Facilitator such as Rob, who has undergone an intensive standardized training process. Learning Facilitators are crucial to the development of skilled, knowledgeable coaches and through those coaches, athletes/participants are safer, happier and more successful.

We look forward to having Rob work with us and are fortunate to have him still find the time to serve as a Coach of one of our Junior or Senior Men’s Teams.

Once again, congratulations to our Nationals family member Coach Ford for all his dedication and hard work.

Coach Howard selected to guide our minor bantam Nationals!

North London Baseball proudly announces the appointment of Coach Jim Howard for the 2015 Minor Bantam Nationals. In his rookie year as a Head Coach in 2014, Coach Howard guided our peewee Nationals to a Silver Medal at the Baseball Ontario Championships. LDBA Pennant champions and a successful season of AAA tournament events set our Nationals up for a great transition to bantam. His enthusiasm, instruction and guidance represent to the core what our Nationals program is all about. Congratulations Coach Howard!
