Brief hiatus after 2015 season …. getting ready for 2016

November 15 2015

For the first time in approximately 4 years North London Baseball took a brief hiatus after the last out was called for the 2015 season. The 2015 season was mostly successful, however I am aware of some matters that did not meet our standard of programming. As we move into the 2016 season steps are being taken in order to address and resolve the shortfalls from 2015. In order to get our program moving forward as quickly as possible for 2016 we are seeking competitive coaching applications. The applications can be completed online at

Applications will be accepted until Nov 30 2015 with all applicants’ interviews to follow as quickly as possible.

Please email if you have any issues or concerns that you would like our President to be aware of.

We are also seeking Conveners for the following programs and you can email for further details: Tball, JR Rookie, Rookie, Mosquito, Peewee, Bantam-Junior, Competitive programming.

Friends of North London Baseball

We are swiftly approaching Labour Day Weekend and this year LDW is super amazing as North London Baseball takes on the host role for the 2015 Minor Bantam AA Provincial Baseball Ontario Championships.
Utilizing our 3 championship diamonds – we will be hosting players and families from as far east as Ottawa through to Windsor in the west.
An event like this needs volunteers and our host committee ( Jim Howards minor bantam team – who are also competing ) have worked to create an event that will in fine fashion follow the North London pride and spirit of the best possible experience.
We have pieces in place that no other OBA event will have ….
If you are able to assist us with a few hours of your valuable time on Labour Day Weekend we will be able to put this one into our archive of historic events.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration …. for the Coaches on this distribution with our older teams that have already completed their seasons, please distribute to your players and perhaps they will be able to give back to our association.
Thank you again for your consideration.

Minor Bantams are the Bantam Finalists for 2015

North London is proud to announce that our Minor Bantam Nationals took 2nd place – 2015 Finalists – in the Major Bantam LDBA Playoffs. Heading into Sunday morning our Nats faced a well rested Ilderton team and needed a win to push the series into a 3 team draw to advance to the finals. Luck was with Ilderton who advanced on the draw and this staged a rematch between arch rival Tillsonburg. The Nats dug deep and defeated Tillsonburg setting up a rematch of the morning against Tillsonburg. In the heat of a Sunday afternoon our Nationals playing their 3rd game of the day battled with all their might against a rested Ilderton. Keeping in mind that the majority of the Ilderton team is one year older than our minor Nationals the boys and coaches in traditional Nationals pride and spirit battled to the last pĂ®tch. We are proud of this team and wish them the very best this weekend as we and they host the Baseball Ontario AA Minor Bantam Provincial Championships. Thanks to Steve Groves and Coach Howard for their assistance this past weekend in convening an exciting LDBA Championship.

This weekend is the Major Division LDBA Playoffs. We wish all teams the greatest success and we will report updates as they are received.

Rookie: 1 win // 1 loss // 1 win // 1 loss – eliminated

Bantam (Howard): 1 win // 1 loss // 1 win // 1 win // 1 loss – FINALISTS
