St. Thomas Tourney Finalists
Team, what a weekend. Going into the weekend, we were 0-3-1. What a pleasure to watch the boys play to their full potential against some very good teams. We were hitting the ball hard, had great pitching, playing solid defense and were aggressive on the bases.
Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side this afternoon. Based on our game being in the bottom of 5 with the home team ahead, the tournament committee considered our game complete due to poor weather and unplayable field conditions.
The coaching staff is extremely proud of the way the boys came together and played as a team this weekend and look forward to continuing the momentum into league play. We scored 65 runs and only allowed 16 during 5 games this weekend - WOW.
