MOSQUITO SELECT, 2018, SEL (North London Baseball)

We had a great weekend in our first tournament!  Everyone's play has improved and it is great to see the players come together to work as a team. Special mention to the players who received 'Player of the Game' honours: Cole F., Tanner C. and Reed G. While these three players were recognized there were great plays, good hits and fantastic effort by all!

Thank-you to all of the players who came out for the select tryouts.  I appreciate your time in coming out.  It was a difficult decision and everyone should be proud of the effort they put forth.

Mosquito Select Tryout times and cost   Any Major or Minor Mosquito players that tried out for the Rep team are welcome to attend.    There is a $20 tryout fee per player that must be paid the first session.  The fee covers the cost of the field and the cage rentals.

My name is Brock Cober and this year I will be the head coach of the North London Nationals Mosquito Select team for the 2018 season.    This year we are excited to be running a select team that will be playing as part of a select loop.  As this is the first year that the team will run this way, some details are still being determined.    Tryouts will be held following the selection of the Rep teams, in the next two weeks.  Players in Minor or Major Mosquito who tried out for the rep team may tryout for the select team.    More information will follow shortly.    Looking forward ...
