Great start for NLB Mosquito Red team...Deez N---
What a great start for the 2016 season. In our first game, the boys played really well, getting the bats going to put up 10 runs. We lost 12-10 to a strong Lucan team. We had stellar plays in the field to get key outs, and the pitching was strong. Unfortunately we just came up short in a 6th inning rally.
In our second game, we won 10-6, behind the strong pitching of our three pitchers, who combined for NO RUNS in three innings. In fact, the first two player pitch innings were 3 up 3 down shutouts (striking out the side in both). Despite a late rally from North 1, we held on for the win. Great start boys. Big game coming up Friday vs Oakridge.
